Trackside warehouses are still common along most railroad lines. While today
they're called "transloading facilities" their function is still
the same: they're a staging area for freight shipped by rail.
Clayton County Lumber features four separate corrugated-metal buildings. This
versatile kit can be split up and used in several places on your layout. One building
has angled end walls allowing the complex to conform to a curved siding. Many
different businesses use similar storage buildings, so it's a natural addition
to your steam- or diesel-era layout.
