Red Cap Line was founded in 1994 by the father and son team of Roy and Ron Lindequist. Originally situated in Burbank, California, the company moved several years ago to Thousand Oaks in Ventura County. Red Cap Line spent six years researching and reviewing prototype drawings before releasing their first kits in 1999. They specialize in prototype-accurate interior details for passenger cars. RCL kits are molded injected plastic, photo-etched plastic and metal parts with laser-cut materials. Most kits come with prototype information to help the modeler recreate the correct time frame, colors and other details. All RCL products are researched, engineered and manufactured in the U.S.
