The trains are compatible with Brio and Thomas wooden railway systems and can also be operated on floors or tables. Whittle Toy Company also manufactures American-style wooden semitractor/trailer trucks. Products are handcrafted in America of birch hardwoods and painted with kid-safe lead-free paint.
