Milwaukee, Wis. - Walthers announces the addition of Single and Double Acorn Street Lights to their line of Cornerstone Series® Built-ups Working Street Lamps. These fully assembled HO Scale models will be available in late November 2007.

As darkness floats through town and street lights flicker on, it signals the end of the workday for many, but railroads keep rolling throughout the night. Modelers who run nighttime operations can easily add to the realism on their layouts with Walthers selection of working street lamps. New to the mix are acorn-style lamps typical of those found on boulevards, residential roads and city streets from the 1920s to the present.

Made of durable metal and plastic, each lamp is fully assembled and features a unique socket for easy installation. An optional manhole is included so sockets can be covered when necessary. The new acorn-style lights are easy to install by simply drilling a mounting hole, inserting the pre-wired socket and attaching its wires to a power pack. They are available in single and double lamp versions.
