Milwaukee, Wis. - Classic Metal Works has announced that the long-awaited HO Scale GMC PD 4103 buses made exclusively for Walthers will be available in late December 2007. The series will include four Greyhound versions (#221-32101 to 32104) and a Union Pacific® version (#221-32105), priced at $21.99 each. The companion bus station, Silver Springs Bus Terminal (#933-2934, $39.98), is currently in stock.
Bill Giacci, President of Classic Model Works explained that the project has been plagued by numerous production problems, which have since been corrected.
"We sincerely apologize for the delays and inconvenience to Walthers, their dealers and consumers. But as you have come to expect, Classic Metal Works will not put our name on any marginal product. Our mission is to provide collectors and model railroaders with product that is excellent in execution and value," said Mr. Giacci.
