Walthers is pleased to announce a second group of roadnames for its HO Scale EMD F7 locomotives. These superbly detailed models are offered in matching A-B or A-A sets, single A units and single B units, all available with or without DCC and sound.

Fast Facts: From 1949 on, the F7 was a fixture on railroads large and small. Equally at home in freight or passenger service, EMD built over 2200 A and 1400 B units, which were delivered in a rainbow of schemes. Tough and durable, many soldiered on into the early 70s and several have been preserved.

Features: PROTO 2000 EMD F7s have set new standards for performance and realism, including roadname and roadnumber specific detailing, an all-new drive with a 14:1 gear ratio, a five-pole skew-wound can motor, insulated diecast magnetic knuckle couplers and correct sideframes. Powered A and B units are available with or without dual mode QSI Quantum® sound & DCC.
