Walthers is pleased to announce Imperial Foods - the latest addition to our Cornerstone Series® Built-ups lineup. This fully assembled and decorated HO Scale structure makes an ideal trackside business for steam- or diesel-era railroads.

Fast Facts: Small canneries, processing plants and distributors like the one represented by Imperial Foods have long been staples along railroad lines from coast to coast. These businesses typically received produce by truck or cart and shipped out a couple of carloads of finished products per week. Others received goods by rail and transloaded them into trucks and carts for local delivery.

Features: A typical business housed in a two-story brick building, Walthers Imperial Foods features rail and truck loading docks sheltered by "corrugated metal" canopies. The structure comes completely assembled and decorated. Signs are already applied to the building and the model is lightly hand weathered to give it a more realistic appearance. Imperial Foods features two canopied loading docks, a rooftop water tank and detailed brick walls with concrete pilasters. Also included are several crates, pallets, a figure and 55-gallon drums for easy customizing.
