Walthers is pleased to announce additional new roadnames and roadnumbers with its latest release of Gold Line™ Thrall 65' Mill Gondolas. Four new schemes will be available soon.

Fast Facts: Introduced in the 1960s for steel industry service, the structural design and extra length of Thrall 65' mill gondolas made them perfect equipment for hauling large or odd-shaped loads. These versatile freight cars were used by railroads throughout the United States and can still be found hauling structural steel and scrap metal between steel mills, metal fabricators, scrap yards and customers.

Features: These Walthers Gold Line ready-to-run models feature detailed styrene bodies with realistic paint schemes, separately applied end ladders, molded-in drill starter points for installing the supplied wire grab irons and PROTO Max™ all-metal knuckle couplers. These models are ideal for use with Ashland Iron & Steel kits and scenes.
