Pennsylvania E7s
Walthers rolls out New Pennsylvania E7s in HO

Walthers is pleased to announce its latest run of EMD E7s includes units painted and detailed for the Pennsylvania Railroad. Working with members of the Pennsylvania Historical and Technical Society, the HO Scale models are based on the eight A-B-A sets of EP-3s from the second order, delivered in August 1947.

Signature Pennsy details include a complete trainphone antenna (the first on any PROTO 2000® loco), original style pilot, and single airhorn on the engineer's side of the cab. Beautifully finished in Dark Green Locomotive Enamel, the signature gold leaf pin stripes don't cover the windows, just as the prototypes appeared after only a few months in service. Superbly printed renditions of the PRR Keystone and trust plates round out the authentic lettering.

The models include all of the standard features on PROTO 2000 E7s, including an improved drive with helical gears for ultra quiet and smooth operation, easy multiple-unit operation, a powerful five-pole skew-wound, high-torque, high-efficiency can motor, painted metal lift rings and hand rails, see-through grilles, authentic bulldog nose, detailed trucks, Proto MAX™ metal knuckle couplers and much more. Both Sound & DCC as well as Standard DC versions will be available:
