Fast Facts: National Steel Car plastic pellet hoppers are built specifically for hauling pelletized plastic from manufacturers to molding plants. Like many bigger cars used to carry lightweight materials, these hoppers haul a maximum payload. They are commonly found at producing and consuming industrial sites.
Features: The new Platinum Line™ 64' Plastic Pellet Hoppers (National 6200) deliver tons of detail. Now with factory-installed grab irons and appropriate paint schemes, these ready-to-run cars also include separate roofwalks, pneumatic piping, control valves, brake cylinders, brake wheel and air reservoir and hatches. The cars are also equipped with RP-25 metal wheels and Proto MAX™ metal knuckle couplers.
