Take the hard work out of layout building with these one-piece, molded plastic forms - perfect for folks with limited space, or anyone living where the mess and noise of traditional layout building could pose problems. All of the scenic forms, including rocks, streams, roads, mountains and railroad right-of-way are molded in place. Simply glue the supporting structure for the hidden track to the base unit (only required for modules having a tunnel); no major tools are required and complete instructions are provided. Then add track, trains, structures and other scenery details (all sold separately) to complete construction. The basic form weighs about 12 pounds, so it's easy to move or store between operating sessions. Forms are available prepainted to speed construction, or unpainted so you can match your favorite scenes. Layouts are designed for use with Atlas Snap-Track (sold separately), but other types can be used with some modifications. Layout forms measure 48 x 30" 120 x 75cm
 

 
This module extends the High Sierra layout (#146-1005 or #146-1000; both sold separately) four more feet to the left, creating a layout eight feet wide by two and half feet deep. When complete it adds another four feet of mainline operation and five more sidings for small industries.
