This privately owned car used on the German Federal Railroad (DB) was specially designed for transporting hot, molten crude iron. The torpedo and truck bridge assemblies are made of metal. The car comes with a built-in digital decoder, a mechanism for turning the torpedo and a glowing light for the interior of the torpedo. The torpedo can be turned to the right or the left from the locomotive controller. An adjustable delay or direct control can be switched on and off digitally. The glow of the crude iron comes from maintenance-free LEDs that will work in conventional operation or can be controlled digitally. The cover for the upper opening on the torpedo can be removed. Additional features include finely detailed handrails, a metal car frame and body and NEM close couplers in a standard pocket with guide mechanism. Length over the buffers 39.0 cm / 15-3/8".
