Fruit Growers and Western Fruit Express once operated the third largest fleet of refrigerator cars in North America and large numbers of these cars were a common site throughout the U. S. and Canada. These cars feature two styles of brake gear, two different side sills, and Hutchins roofs with etched metal hatch rests. Completely assembled with metal wheelsets and Kadee(R) couplers.
