Walthers brings back the glory days of the caboose with this HO Scale model, based on the C&O 90700 series cabooses built in 1924. A must-have for any collection of C&O equipment, it's the finishing touch for trains pulled by the Rivarossi Allegheny 2-6-6-6 as well as later diesel power. The models are offered in C&O schemes covering the steam and diesel eras.
 
Each is available with three different numbers in single and two-pack versions. Each Platinum Line model comes fully assembled with factory applied wire grab irons and handrails, ready for the road with detailed interior, separately applied "wood" roofwalks, window glazing and molded end ladders. Leaf-spring arch-bar trucks with turned-metal wheels and McHenry(R) near-scale working knuckle couplers complete the realistic detail.
