Freight cars coupled at speeds over five miles per hour can hit with enough force to severely damage loads. End-of-car cushioning devices are used on freight cars that carry automobiles, glass, canned goods, paper and other fragile loads.
 
Easy to install, this kit simulates end-of-car cushioning devices used on box cars, auto racks, cabooses and other types of cars. The longer draft gear increases the distance between cars for a more realistic appearance. Parts to modify four cars and complete instructions are included. Horn-hook or Kadee(R) #5 couplers work well with this kit.
