Based on the Pullman-Standard design of the mid 1960s, the models feature the correct ribbed ends and the unique sidesills with visible interior posts as found on the prototypes. Models are fully assembled with working knuckle couplers. To match your timeframe, cars are prepainted in 1960s or 1990s schemes. 60' Single Door Auto Parts Box Cars
Auto makers began using these cars in the early 1960s to carry
heavier castings, such as brake drums, engine blocks, and transmissions.
Loads are carried in special baskets, designed for easy unloading/loading
with forklifts through the large single door. These cars move
in priority trains to and from America's auto assembly plants.
The models come fully assembled and
are offered in 1960s or
1990s paint schemes. Working knuckle couplers are also provided.

60' Double-Door Auto Parts Box Car
This Pullman-Standard 60' auto parts box cars has two eight foot
wide doors for eaiser access with forklifts. They carry engine
blocks, axles, transmissions or brake drums in special baskets.
You'll still find them in this specialized service across America
today.
Models are fully assembled with working
knuckle couplers and come prepainted in 1960s (old) or 1990s
(new) schemes. Matching 2-Pack sets (932-23581 series sold separately),
feature two different car numbers.
