Mark the 50th Anniversary of Germany's special rescue service with this set. The Technical Help Service (Technisches Hilfswerk - THW) is a volunteer force that handles engineering, rescue and/or salvage work in their assigned district during natural disasters or war-time.
 
This set features the traditional blue and white colors and includes a low ceiling 3-stall garage with moveable roll-up doors, a square office building, an open 3-stall vehicle storage/repair shed (no doors), a special Mercedes Sprinter personnel van, VW Variant Station Wagon and Magirus Mercury 120 A truck, interior lights and a special numbered certificate. All of the buildings are separate and can be arranged to fit your space. The 3-stall garage can be fitted with the special slow-speed motor (#272-6260, sold separately) to open and close the doors. (Remote control requires a push-button or other type of on/off switch, sold separately.) You can also use the building with the powered THW equipment from the Car System.
