The Atlas Master 73' Center-Partition (Centerbeam) Flatcar is based on cars first delivered in 1986 and over 40,000 have been built. The 73' Center Partition Car is designed to load, transport and unload lumber, gypsum board and other construction products efficiently. The AAR mechanical designation for this type of car is "FBC." This model features accurate details, wire grab irons, etched-metal and wire parts as appropriate, correct trucks with free-rolling wheelsets, fine paint, crisp lettering and magnetic knuckle couplers. Curves of 22" radius or larger are recommended for reliable operation of the 73' Center-Partition (Centerbeam) Flatcar.
