Large and spacious, double-bedrooms were some of the most popular sleeping car accommodations on the flagship City of Los Angeles in the 1960s. Built by Pullman-Standard (P-S) in February and March 1956 as lot #6958 to Pullman plan #4198, the series included 10 luxury cars that also served on other City Domeliners.
