Barnhart Log Loader -- United States Lumber Company

Load log cars with fresh cut timber easily with the Barnhart Log Loader. Developed by the Marion Steam Shovel Company in the 1880s, the Barnhart loaders operated directly on log cars allowing them to move down the length of trains. The crew would advance the Barnhart along the train using the Barnhart's winch, until it reached the last car, where it was often left. Comes fully assembled and crafted in metal and plastic.
