Built in 1962 by St. Louis Car Company, baggage car #6334 was one of the last cars of this type purchased by the Union Pacific. In 1973 it was refitted as a tool car (#904304) and assigned to snowplow service, where it remained until joining the Heritage Fleet in 1981. In 1992, the car was named for the foreman of the Cheyenne, Wyoming, roundhouse, Art Lockman. Today the car houses a full machine shop, along with a variety of tools, parts, lubricants and more to support UP's steam locos when they're out on the road. A crew lounge, lockers and laundry area are also housed in this car.
