The model of the class 80 steam locomotive has very fine prototypical details and is constructed of metal. It has a built-in powerful motor, cab windows with window panes, and LED headlights that change over with the direction of travel. The locomotive has complete working side rods, drive rods, and valve gear. Imitation brakes, rail clearance devices, and larger buffer plates are modelled.
The model comes in a real wooden box with a certificate of authenticity. It forms the start of a loose series of famous German museum locomotives.
