This Class TK-N Welded Tank Car is based on the 101100-101349 series of welded tank cars delivered to the Santa Fe beginning in 1949. The prototypes were equipped with AB airbrakes, Ajax handbrakes and ASF A3 ride Control 70-ton trucks. Their primary service was hauling diesel fuel and gasoline. The cars survived in service into the 1980s and in work train service until the 1990s, so they'll look great in your early diesel-era freight consists. This HO Scale Class TK-N Welded Tank Car features an injection-molded body with applied separate details, accurate decoration, metal wheels, appropriate trucks and magnetic knuckle couplers. Cars come with or without walkways as appropriate.
