Built between 1949 and 1952, the Fairbanks-Morse 5-axle CPA-20-5 and CPA24-5 models were FM's passenger versions of the famous "C-Liner" locomotives. These units were sold to several railroads and were used in both long and short haul service.
 
The Rapido Express 5-Axle C-Liner features all new artwork and decoration with correct side grilles, trucks and fans. It also features added road-specific details such as correct grab irons, antennas and horns.
