EMD GP40 No Dynamic Brakes - Standard DC - Master(R) -- Rock Island #373 (blue, white, black)

Marketed to railroads that needed a more powerful medium-size road engine, the GP40 packed an impressive 3000 horsepower under the hoodtwice as much as the GP7. These locos now feature improved roof and side sill details, directional lighting with white LEDs, walkway safety treads, blackened wheels, ScaleSpeed(TM) motor, painted handrails, and factory-installed AccuMate(R) knuckle couplers.
