Fairbanks-Morse H12-44 Conversion Kit -- Fits Walthers Model (Out of Production)

In September of 1962, F-M changed the styling of the H12-44. The cab overhang was removed, the sloped nose was changed slightly, the headlight was lowered and new sand fillers were installed. Production of this body style continued through February of 1953. Set features a cast brass nose piece to match the roof contour, a replacement front headlight (which accepts a 1.5V mini-bulb and M.V. products lens#516-159, both available separately) and sloped sand filler hatches for the nose and rear of the cab. An illustrated instruction sheet covers basic body modifications and the installation of new parts on the Walthers loco.
