13 powered rail cars survived World War II and 9 remained in the West Zones; 7 of those were retired in 1949. All but one were retired or scrapped by the end of the 1950s. One Kittel powered rail car delivered to Switzerland is still preserved there in operational condition.
Model features include a die cast metal frame, mfx digital decoder, controlled miniature can motor, 2 axles powered, NEM coupler pocket and many separately applied details. Dual headlights will work in conventional or DCC operation.
