Make your your passenger fleet more realistic day or night with the MagLED(R) evolutionary model railroad lighting system from Model Railroad Headquarters. Measuring just 4" (10.1cm) long by 1/2" (1.2cm) wide, the unit is small enough to fit most N Scale cars, or add Extension Boards (444-MLX1, each sold separately) to illuminate almost any car in HO and larger scales. Powered by easily replaceable 3V batteries, which are included (replacements are also available separately as item 444-MLBP1), the units come fully assembled, and feature magnet-activated, high-tech micro-mechanical switching for positive on-off performance and zero current draw when not in use. In addition, only one battery has to be good to power the system. You can also add the 444-MLH1 Accessory Harness (sold separately) to power and operate add-ons such as markers or other lighting features, with no in-line resistors required.
 
Unit comes complete with ready-to-use circuit board, two 3VDC CR1130 lithium batteries, and control magnet.
