IC and B&O both acquired smoothside versions of this popular P-S streamlined sleeper. IC numbered its 21 cars in the "Cairo" series (3510-3532) while the 10 B&O cars fell into the "Auglaise series (7040-7049). Sleeping cars built to the same plan but with fluted sheathing below the windows were owned by C&O (56) and DRGW (4).
These sides feature end skirting, etched line detail and grab irons and are designed to be used with American Limited Models core kits. They are based on all-new tooling.
