Command Control

Digital Command Control, or DCC as most modelers know it, brings electronics technology to your model railroad. DCC makes operating two or more trains on the same track easy. With DCC and other kinds of command control you control decoder-equipped locomotives independently as opposed to controlling the power going to the track and everything on it. With only a few wires to the track and decoders plugged into each locomotive, there are few worries about blocks, toggle switches or miles of wires. Control of on-board sound, accessories, turnouts, signals and more is easy with a full-featured throttle, and advanced systems and components allow you to run your layout on a computer. Most decoders are relatively easy to install in current HO, N and O Scale locos and setting up a basic DCC system is straightforward. DCC also makes prototypical operations far, far easier.
