As covered hoppers replaced box cars for hauling grain and other medium density materials, Pullman-Standard continued to produce its popular PS2-CD High Side Covered Hoppers. This series of HO Scale models are exacting replicas, featuring the correct 13 rib, high-side design of the prototype. Full underframe detail highlights each model, and includes a full brake system with train air line and reservoir. Laser-quality lettering compliments the colorful, accurate paint schemes from various owner/operators. The cars ride on free-rolling Barber S-2 100 ton trucks with blackened 36" metal wheels. Universal coupler pockets can be equipped with the Proto 2000 knuckle couplers or horn-hook couplers, both of which are included. Each roadname will be available with six different car numbers; four are included with the four-pack sets, and two are offered on individual cars, sold separately.
