The Atlas N Scale Remote Control Switch Machine makes it easy to convert Atlas Code 80 Standard Line manual No. 4, No. 6 or wye turnouts to electric remote control. It is a twin-coil solenoid in a black housing that attaches to the side of the turnouts replacing the manual turnout throw housing. All twin-coil switch machines must be controlled by a normally-off momentary contact switch to prevent burnouts such as the Atlas 150-56 Switch Control Box. The Remote Control Switch Machine is part of the extensive Atlas N Scale Code 80 and Code 55 track line.
