The American barn is one of the most beloved icons of our culture. Built in all different shapes and sizes, many are still used to house animals and feed. The loft style barn, as depicted by this kit, was seen all across the US; the upper loft was used to store hay, while the lower level provided space for livestock and a handy place to store smaller machinery out of the weather.   Designed for easy assembly, this LASERkit wood model features tab & slot and peel & stick construction. A second story interior floor, panel roofing sheets, and sliding style doors that may be modeled in any position are all included. The small size is ideal for most layouts, and the finished model can be used the Two-Story House (#152-486) or Sonny's Shack (#152-477), both sold separately, to model a complete farm scene.
