Product Information

In prepration for future conflicts, the British began developing a new series of tanks, dubbed "Cruisers," in the mid 30s. These machines were intended to fill the need for rapid movement and attack/support capabilites once performed by mounted cavalry, but with enough firepower that they could also face enemy tanks.

In the late 30s the "Crusader" was introduced as a heavy cruiser, with some improvements over earlier designs. Despite their light armor and small gun, they served in North Africa, but were quickly obsolete.
