This detailed Era III model is based on the German Federal Railroad (DB) Class 44 2-10-0 heavy freight locomotive. These powerful engines were among the last steamers to operate on the Long Henry unit ore trains on the Emsland line in October 1977. This replica is ideal for hauling the 20-car Long Henry cars in set #441-86306 (sold separately).
 
All drivers on this model are geared and the loco is powered by a 5-for smooth operation. Other features include a metal frame and body for best pulling power, triple working headlights on the front and dark nickel-plated wheels and valve gear for extra realism.
