This ready-to-run N Scale 50' 6" Troop Sleeper from Micro-Trains(R) is based on cars built during World War II to move troops in passenger trains. The prototypes were developed using off-the-shelf 50' boxcar plans with passenger modifications and appliances. Following the war many of these cars were sold to railroads for use as crew bunk cars on work trains, and a few even became cabooses. Others received modification for use as baggage and express cars on passenger trains. This car features a detailed body with window glazing, fine decoration, free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles, truck-mounted Magne-Matic(R) couplers. This 50' 6" Troop Sleeper is one of many Micro-Trains N Scale freight and passenger cars.
