Here are the cars you've been waiting for -- accurate HO Scale Pullman-Standard
designs to model classic streamliners! With their smooth-side bodies, crisp
paint and lettering, plus all the great features of our Budd cars, these
models capture the color and elegance of lightweight equipment used from
the 1940s to the 70s.
Assigned to flagship trains like the "Golden State Limited" and UPs "City"
streamliners, 6-6-4 Sleepers operated coast-to-coast. Each had six open
compartments, six roomettes and four double bedrooms -- perfect for
long-distance travelers.
Detailed to match prototype practice, models come with or without skirting
as appropriate for each roadname. All feature as-built ends, steam-heat
underbody details and diecast GSC 41-HR truck sideframes. For more realism,
add the Walthers Interior Lighting Conversion Kit (#933-1049, $10.98) sold
separately.
