Introduced in the 1970s, Thrall 53' Gondolas are ideal for all kinds of shipments. They're most commonly used for hauling scrap and steel products, but they also handle pulpwood, machinery, aggregates, track materials and any other load that requires an open-top car. Many of these cars are still in use, so the Walthers models will be right at home on any layout set in the 70s to the present.
