Constructed in Hamilton, Ontario, at the huge National Steel car plant, these heavy-duty stack cars feature three drawbar-connected platforms, each capable of handling 53' containers in the bottom position. Spotting features include their tall sides, unique curved cutouts near their wheels, and impressive length.
Like the prototypes, the models include three drawbar-connected platforms and feature detailed, diecast metal bodies with appropriate plastic details, free-rolling trucks with RP-25 metal wheels and Proto MAX(TM) knuckle couplers, for superior tracking, loaded or empty.
