Powerful Electrics for Rugged Rail Lines

This replica is based on Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) class 1012 express locomotives delivered in 1997. Designed especially for the mountainous and curvy Austrian network, the unique locos hauled passenger and freight trains on the Innsbruck - Brenner line. The models feature a Märklin Digital mfx decoder, five-pole, skewed-armature can motor with flywheel, LED headlights and NEM coupler pockets and a close coupler mechanism.
