PROTO 1000 EMD F3 locomotives are perfect for powering trains on your
HO Scale railroad. Dressed in authentic paint schemes, they have all the
performance features you want including all-wheel drive and electrical
pickup, dual machined brass flywheels, directional LED headlight, NMRA DCC
eight-pin plug for easy decoder installation and PROTO 2000 knuckle
couplers. Each set includes a powered A and a powered B unit, and two
differently numbered sets are available in each roadname so you can run an
A-B-B-A set.
