Here's the perfect power for your narrow gauge lines. Based on the later designs of Porter steam locos, the kit is patterned after the 36" gauge 18-ton tank engines (and the 15-ton version with tender). The kits feature over 200 parts. In plastic, steel and Delrin(R) and include complete assembly instructions. The pilot beam will accept link and pink or MCB couplers at a height used by most narrow gauge models.
 
To extend the fuel and water capacity, Porter offered a conventional design with a separate tender. This lightened the engine by three tons and also reduced the tractive effort.
