This HO Scale Brekina 1950-1952 Mercedes-Benz O6600H Bus is based on the prototypes that introduced a number of firsts for Mercedes-Benz. In 1951, Mercedes-Benz introduced the O 6600 H, featuring a technical design that is still popular today - the rear-mounted engine and front-wheel steering. With this change, MB's first postwar bus required a new chassis not based on a truck chassis. The O6600H also featured an electrically operated gearshift system.
