The Atlas N Scale 40' Wood Reefer is based on double-sheathed refrigerator cars used by shippers and railroads from coast to coast. Each car features an injection-molded body with realistic wood grain, opening ice hatches, applied details, accurate decoration, 40-ton friction-bearing trucks and AccuMate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. 40' wood reefers were common sights on railroads from the 1920s to the late 1960s.
