In 1988, Burlington Northern began painting a series of its 45' intermodal trailers with "cityscape" images in recognition of thirteen major cities it serves. Like the other twelve, this Ft. Worth trailer is white with green striping and has a brilliant color images of the city's focal points depicted within the letters spelling out the city's name. This project garnered two national advertising awards for BN as well as recognition from the cities it represented. Some of the Ft. Worth features depicted are: the open-air Water Garden, Will Rogers Memorial Center, cattle ranching and big business.
