Introduced in the early 1970s by Pullman-Standard, 30 railroads and some 120 private firms have puirchased these cars. Several builders have also constructed similar three-bay hoppers with a 4,750 cubic-foot capacity.
 
These easy-to-build styrene kits have numerous add-on parts. Each is complete with trucks and step-by-step instructions, but does not include weights or couplers. Coupler pockets will accept InterMountain couplers and other brand of magnetic couplers.
