Product Information

This ready-to-run N Scale 50' Rib-Side Double-Door Boxcar No Roofwalk from Micro-Trains(R) is based on cars built between the 1970s and 1990s making it ideal for your diesel-era freight into the 2020s. This boxcar features free-rolling Delrin(R) trucks with contoured axles, truck-mounted Magne-Matic(R) couplers and die cast metal underframes or interior weights. Cars also include thin-profile foot stirrups, brake wheels and fine decoration. This 50' Double-Door Boxcar without Roofwalk is one of many Micro-Trains N Scale freight cars.

Built by Pullman-Standard in May 1980, and runs on Barber roller bearing trucks. The Seattle and North Coast Railroad (SNCT) was a short-line railroad that operated on the northern part of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State from Port Angeles to Port Townsend. The line was unique in that it was a rail island with no outside rail connection to a mainline railroad. Instead, rail equipment was brought in via barges that traveled between Port Townsend and Seattle.
