The Atlas Master N Scale 50' Single-Sheathed, Double-Door Boxcar is based on cars that hit the rails around 1929 and lasted into the 1960s and 1970s in MOW service. With their double door configuration they were well suited for handling automobiles, furniture, lumber products and other bulky shipments. Like most cars of this period, steel and wood parts were used in construction. The cars feature roadname-appropriate end doors, separately applied side doors, free-rolling trucks with magnetic knuckle couplers. 50' Single-Sheathed, Double-Door Boxcars are part of the line of Atlas N Scale steam-era wood freight cars.
