Plate Girder bridges are the most common type of railroad bridge in North America, and the E-72 load rating has been a common mainline standard from the 1940s. Carefully dimensioned from actual prototypes, this fully assembled model features a section of bridge ties for modeler's to affix rail creating a seamless transition from bridge to mainline. This late version has wooden guard timbers, etched metal walkways and fine-scale cable handrails.
