Santa Fe's only conventional domes arrived in late 1950 exclusively for the Super Chief, and the combined Super Chief / El Capitan, where they were paired with the 36-seat diner. The dome was fitted with a mix of parlor and paired seats while the lower level had a comfortable bar and lounge area, along with the fabulous Turquoise Room, with its private dining area. Ready for operation or display, features of this WalthersProto replica include:
